WHAT IS ST. THOMAS?

St. Thomas is among approximately 100 jewel-like islands that dot the blue waters of the northern Caribbean. The islands were visited by Columbus in 1493. For the next two centuries, the only Europeans to come to the islands were pirates, but in the 17th century, Danish settlers built vast sugar plantations using slave laborers imported from Africa. The Old World architecture of its towns and villages, coupled with its tropical climate and cooling trade winds, make the islands an ideal vacation spot.

WHAT TO DO HERE?

We recommend enjoying three beaches on St. Thomas: Magens Bay, Coki Point, and Lindquist Beach. They are very different from one another and provide a great feel for the different types of beaches on the Island. Take the ferry to St. John and explore the town of Cruz Bay and the beaches located inside the Virgin Islands National Park. At night, the town of Red Hook, just a few miles away from the resort, is the tourist nightlife and restaurant hub of St. Thomas. Shopping and visiting our largest city, Charlotte Amalie, during the days is also a must-do.
